REAL ESTATE EXPERIENCE – Previously a licensed real estate broker in the State of Tennessee for 30 years. Brokered real estate or participated in the brokerage of real estate in 18 states. Broker’s license retired 2005.
APPRAISAL EXPERIENCE - Written appraisals on real property, industrial machinery, personal property and inventories of all types in 33 states within the past 20 years. The appraiser has 33 years of experience in appraising real estate. Majority of real estate appraisals have been performed on commercial, industrial, agricultural, and development properties. Most of the personal property appraisals have been performed on industrial and commercial fixtures, furniture, equipment and machinery.
COURT APPEARANCES - Has appeared in county, state and federal court for expert testimony as it relates to values of real property and personal property.
EDUCATION - Graduate of Lawrence County High School, Lawrenceburg, TN, 1966. Graduated from Nashville Auction School, 1968. Attended Martin College, Pulaski, TN, 1966-68. Bachelor of Science Degree, Trevecca Nazarene College, 1991. Accumulated 488 hours of appraisal education from various appraisal associations. (The appraiser has some non-traditional degrees that were posted on the appraiser's qualifications in the 1980's but are no longer displayed by decision of the appraiser).
REAL ESTATE TEACHING - Have been instructor on real estate and machinery for Nashville Auction School, Columbia, TN, since 1969. Instructor on the appraisal of real estate for Floyd College, Rome, GA. Instructor on appraisal subjects for Columbia State Community College, Columbia, TN. Instructor on real estate appraisal subjects for Evans Education Center and National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers.
